It was narrated from Ibn Abī Ka`b (may Allāh be pleased with him) that he said, “The Messenger of Allāh (may Allāh’s Peace and Blessings be upon him) said, “It is purer and more righteous for a man to pray with another man than to pray alone and praying with two men is better than praying with one. The more people there are, the more Allāh, Exalted be He, loves it” [Ṣaḥīḥ Sunan Abī Dāwūd: 518].
