It was narrated from Anas (may Allāh be pleased with him) that “the Prophet (May Allāh praise him and Peace be upon him) was riding a horse and was thrown from it and his right side was wounded. Then he performed one of the prayers sitting down, so we prayed behind him and we sat to pray” [Reported by Bukhārī: 689].
