It was narrated from Abū Hurayrah (may Allāh be pleased with him) that, “The Prophet (May Allāh praise him and Peace be upon him) said, “Should I not tell about something because of which Allāh erases your sins and raises your rank?” They said, “Please tell us, O Messenger of Allāh” He said, “Performing wudhū` well despite what hardships you may encounter, taking many steps to the mosque and waiting for one prayer after the last, because that is the same as being stationed as a sentry”” [Reported by Muslim: 251].
