Some of the Āyahs from the Qur`ān that talk about establishing prayer:
Where Allāh, Exalted is He, says,” Maintain with care the [obligatory] prayers and [in particular] the middle prayer and stand before Allāh, devoutly obedient.” [Sūrat Al Baqarah 238].”
Where Allāh, Exalted is He, says, “And enjoin prayer upon your family [and people] and be steadfast therein. We ask you not for provision; We provide for you, and the [best] outcome is for [those of] righteousness.” [Sūrat TāHā: 132]
Where Allāh, Exalted is He, says, “[O Muhammad], tell My servants who have believed to establish prayer” [Sūrah Ibrāhīm: 31]
Where Allāh, exalted is He, says, “And establish prayer at the two ends of the day and at the approach of the night” [Sūrah Hūd : 114].
