It was narrated from ‘Umar (may Allāh be pleased with him) that, “The Prophet (May Allāh praise him and Peace be upon him) said, "Do not forbid your womenfolk from going to mosques, but their houses are better for them”” [Ṣaḥīḥ Sunan Abī Dāwūd: 530].
