Advice from the Messenger of Allāh (May Allāh praise him and Peace be upon him): It was narrated from Mu’ādh Ibn Jabal (may Allāh be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allāh (May Allāh praise him and Peace be upon him) took him by the hand and said, “O Mu’ādh, by Allāh, I truly love you. By Allāh, I truly love you.” Then he said, “I advise you, no matter what, after every prayer, to say “O Allāh, help me to do remembrance of you, to be grateful to you and to worship you well.” [Reported by Imām Aḥmad and Abū Dāwūd]
