It was narrated from Abū Hurayrah (may Allāh be pleased with him) that he said, “I heard Allāh’s Messenger (May Allāh praise him and Peace be upon him) say, “When the iqāmah for prayer is given, do not rush to it, but walk calmly. Whatever you catch, pray that, and make up whatever you miss”” [Reported by Bukhārī: 908].
