It was narrated from Al Barā` Ibn ‘Āzib (may Allāh be pleased with him) that, “the Prophet (May Allāh praise him and Peace be upon him) used to say, “Allāh praises and His Angels ask forgiveness and supplicate for the people in the first row” [Ṣaḥīḥ Sunan Abī Dāwūd: 507].
