It was narrated from Abū Hurayrah (may Allāh be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allāh (May Allāh praise him and Peace be upon him) said, “If you come to prayer while we are prostrating, you prostrate and do not count it. Whoever catches a rak’ah (unit of prayer) has caught the prayer” [Authenticated by Sheikh Al-Albānī in Al-Irwā`, 496].
