Some Āyahs deterring slaves of Allāh from delaying prayer:
Allāh, Exalted is He, says, “But there came after them successors who neglected prayer and pursued desires; so, they are going to meet evil” [Maryam: 59].
Allāh, Exalted is He, says, “[And asking them], "What put you into Saqar?" They will say, "We were not of those who prayed” [Al Mudaththir 42-43]
