Sheikh Al Albānī (may Allāh have mercy on him) said, “The Prophet (May Allāh praise him and Peace be upon him) used to do what he did in the first tashhahhud, the difference being that in the final one he would sit with his right hand and forearm up to his elbow on his right thigh and his left hand on his left thigh with his weight on it, spreading his left fingers, with his left buttock on the ground.” [Ṣifat al Ṣalāt (Description of Prayer), p.181].
