Ibn ‘Amr (may Allāh be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allāh (May Allāh praise him and Peace be upon him) said, “When you hear the muezzin, say what he says, then send salutations (asks Allāh to praise him) upon me, because everybody who sends salutations upon me will be rewarded by Allāh sending salutations upon him (praising him) ten times. Then, ask Allāh for al-wasīlah for me, which is a station that is only befitting for a slave of Allāh and I hope than I am he. Whoever asks for me to have al-waseelah will be allowed my intercession.” [Reported by Imam Muslim 384].
