Sheikh Al-’Uthaymīn (may Allāh have mercy on him) said:
One of the things that it has been narrated to say at the end of Ṣalāt (prayer) is “O Allāh help me to remember You, to be grateful to You and to worship You well.” When he said “to worship You well”, he did not say “to worship you a lot”; he said “well”, because what is meant to be taken from it is worshipping well. No doubt, if somebody worships well and a lot, this is good. However, if somebody just does a lot of worship without doing it well, this is not what is meant. [Sharḥ Mishkāt Al-Maṣābīḥ 2/130]
